President and Chief Executive Officer
Meg joined Tellurian as President and CEO in August 2016. She previously served as Executive Vice President-Marketing at Cheniere Energy, Inc. In addition, she served as Senior Vice President-Marketing, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President-Strategic Planning & Finance, Vice President of Strategic Planning, and Manager of Strategic Planning for Cheniere. Before Cheniere, Meg spent eight years in energy market development, economic evaluation and long-range planning. She conducted international business development and strategic planning for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, and energy market analysis for Pace Global Energy Services. Meg received a B.A. in Economics and International Affairs from James Madison University in May 1996 and an M.B.A. from Rice University in May 2004.
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Keith Teague joined Tellurian in 2016 to serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Keith previously served at Cheniere in a variety of roles, most recently as Executive Vice President, Asset Group; and previously as Senior Vice President-Asset Group; President of CQH Holdings Company, LLC (formerly known as Cheniere Pipeline Company); Vice President-Pipeline Operations; and he began his career with Cheniere in February 2004 as Director of Facility Planning. Before joining Cheniere, Keith served as the Director of Strategic Planning for the CMS Panhandle Companies. He began his career with Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation where he managed pipeline operations and facility expansion. Keith received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and an M.B.A. from Louisiana State University.
General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer
Daniel joined Tellurian in October 2016 and serves as General Counsel. Daniel served at Cheniere Energy, Inc. as Vice President, Tax and General Tax Counsel, Tax Director and Domestic Tax Counsel. Daniel began his career in public accounting after he received his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University. He then went on to obtain his law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law and his LL.M. from the Georgetown University Law Center. Daniel is currently affiliated with the American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association and also serves on the Board of Governors at the University of Kansas School of Law.
John Howie has over three decades of experience managing and investing in upstream energy assets, deploying ~$2 Bn in equity and debt across 80 + companies and projects. He was most recently president of Impact Natural Resources, a private upstream company with production in the Gulf Coast and Permian Basin and evaluations in select North American basins. He was a Founder of Parallel Resource Partners and a member of Board of Managers and the Investment committee of the $700 million private equity fund. He led Goldman Sachs E&P Capital, a staff of technical and financial professionals, investing over $1 Billion in upstream opportunities. He served as a Managing Director at EnCap Investments and held engineering, finance and management positions with Range Resources, Apache, and Amoco. John has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from New Mexico State and is a Professional Engineer in the state of Texas, member of Society of Petroleum Engineers, The Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers and the Houston Producers Forum.
SVP and Chief Financial Officer
Antoine became CFO of Tellurian Inc. on February 10, 2017. He served as Magellan's President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Corporate Secretary from August 5, 2016 to the merger with Tellurian. Antoine previously served as Magellan's Senior Vice President, of Strategy and Business Development and Chief Commercial Officer. Previously, he served in a number of senior financial management positions during a career in the United States and Europe. He was Chief Financial Officer of Falcon Gas Storage, a natural gas storage company based in Houston, Texas, a principal for Arcapita, a global financial services firm, focusing on investments in the energy and infrastructure sectors, and served in various financial and strategic advisory roles in the energy sector based in London working for Bank of America, Credit Suisse and Societe Generale. Antoine received master's degrees in Finance from the Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris and in Social and Political Sciences from the Institut d'Études Politiques, both located in France.
SVP LNG Marketing and Trading
Tarek Souki joined Tellurian as Senior Vice President - LNG Marketing and Trading in August 2016. Since joining, he has created the marketing team tasked with commercializing the Driftwood Project. Additionally, Tarek has overseen the build out of Tellurian’s LNG trading group. Prior to Tellurian, Tarek was VP of Finance and Business Development at Cheniere Marketing in charge of finance for the marketing and trading group. He also led the build out of the middle and back office functions for Cheniere’s trading desk. Before Cheniere, Tarek spent 14 years working in the banking industry, including most recently at Credit Suisse in New York and London. There he specialized in corporate and project finance for the resources sector. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Irvine.
SVP Strategy and Business Development
Mark joined Tellurian in January 2017 and serves as the SVP for Strategy and Business Development. He has more than 30 years of experience in the oil, natural gas and power industries. Previously, Mark served as Senior Vice President Marketing and Trading at Cheniere; President Dynegy Gas Liquids, President Dynegy Telecommunications and SRVP Dynegy Gas and Power Origination. Additionally, he served in various senior positions at Chevron in Production, Marine and Finance organizations in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Mark is a former member of the Management Boards of GNL Penco SpA, Nicor Energy LLC, South Star LLC and Dynegy Connect. He earned a BA from the University of the Pacific.
Senior Advisor to CEO
Octávio brings 38 years of impressive energy industry experience to Tellurian’s remarkable infrastructure team. Previously, he was President and CEO of Sempra LNG & Midstream where he was responsible for all LNG and natural gas midstream activities in Sempra’s efforts to develop, build and operate liquefied natural gas (LNG) receipt terminals, liquefaction facilities, natural gas pipelines and storage facilities. He led the company's efforts at Cameron LNG, Energia Costa Azul LNG and Port Arthur LNG, where he focused on reliability of deliveries to customers, safety and gas sourcing strategies that assure reliable production of LNG. Octávio has deep relationships in the LNG market and an unmatched tenacity for developing new projects.
Prior responsibilities include business development, acquisitions, engineering and construction, operations and asset management in power generation, as well as financial and strategic planning, Activities covered various markets in all continents. Simões has degrees in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and from the University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Massachusetts. Simões is a native of Lisbon, Portugal.
SVP Tellurian Production Company
Ami Arief joined Tellurian in 2017 and is responsible for upstream’s operations, engineering and geoscience teams. Ami has over 17 years experience in the energy industry where she has spent the majority of it in North America unconventional shale play development. She was most recently Vice President of Impact Natural Resources, a private upstream company. She has worked in various technical and leadership roles with Exxon Mobil, Goldman Sachs and Southwestern Energy where she managed a multi discipline team drilling over 200 horizontal wells/ year and production of over 2 Bcf/d from 3000+ horizontal wells. Ami has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a B.A. in French from Virginia Tech, and an MBA from the University of Houston. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers where she has served in several committees.
Howard has served as Senior Vice President-Projects of Tellurian since April 8,2016. He previously worked for BG Group for 54 years with more than 40 years dedicated to LNG. He has held many senior LNG operational positions during this period, with six years as Vice President of Operations Atlantic LNG and eight years as Vice President of Operations of BG's Global shipping. Educated in the U.K. with a Higher National Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and CEI in Process Gas Engineering, Howard became a Chartered Engineer in 1989.
SVP Gas Supply
Mark has served as Senior Vice President - Gas Supply of Tellurian Investments since April 15, 2016 where he is responsible for natural gas and power activities. Immediately before Tellurian, Mark served in a similar role at Parallax Enterprises starting in 2014. From 2002 to 2013, he worked at BG Group where he was responsible for its North American energy trading and marketing business. Before BG Group, he worked at Duke Energy from 1990 to 2000 serving in various energy trading roles. Mark has a BBA from Stephen F. Austin State University where he majored in Finance and an MBA from the University of Houston.
SVP Chief Human Resources Officer
Margery (Margie) Harris is an accomplished HR leader. Over the last 25 years, she has worked in both industry and consulting leading Human Resource change initiatives.
Ms. Harris has held leadership positions at several large Fortune 500 companies. Most recently she held the position of Executive Vice President of Human Resources of Apache Corporation, a global Exploration and Production Company headquartered in Houston, Texas. Prior to Apache, Ms. Harris served as an Executive Vice President, at Texas Genco, a wholesale electrical power generation company where she established the human resources group. She also headed the human resources groups at Integrated Electrical Services, a national electrical contracting company and Santa Fe Snyder, an independent exploration and production company. Ms. Harris was a lead design consultant at Hewitt Associates focusing primarily on executive compensation, broad based compensation and benefit program design. Prior to her emphasis in Human Resources Management, she also held the position of financial controller for the international division of Continental Airlines and served as a landman at Shell Oil Company.
She serves on the alumni board of the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University and was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the University of St. Thomas. Ms. Harris is a speaker at industry events and coaches and mentors professionals regarding their career goals.
Ms. Harris holds a bachelor's degree with honors in finance from The Ohio State University. She also earned an MBA with concentrations in finance and marketing from the University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas.
Amos joined Tellurian in 2017. Prior to joining the company, Amos served as the U.S. Special Envoy for International Energy Affairs and led the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Energy Resources. As the U.S. "Energy Diplomat," Hochstein oversaw global U.S. energy foreign policy engagement and advised the Secretary of State and the Vice President of the U.S. on global energy markets.
As Special Envoy, Hochstein led the engagement to strengthen Europe's energy security through diversification of natural gas resources; authored the White House Caribbean Energy Security Initiative; chaired the President's U.S. - Caribbean and U.S. - Central America Energy Security Task Force; led U.S. efforts to promote global fuel switching to natural gas and develop stronger natural gas markets throughout Asia and South Asia; and; Working closely with the Department of Defense, Mr. Hochstein led the U.S. efforts to diminish ISIL and other terrorist groups' profits from energy assets. Prior to serving in the State Department, Mr. Hochstein served in a variety of senior level positions on Capitol Hill and advised energy companies entering and developing new markets.
SVP Public Affairs and Communication
Joi is responsible for external and internal communication activities, including marketing, public relations and media relations. She brings 30 years of communication experience in several industries, including oil and gas, banking and consulting, and has conducted business in 13 countries on six continents. Previous employers include Mercer, JPMorgan Chase & Co. and BG Group plc. Most recently, she was the Owner, Founder and President of TopDog Communication and Development, L.L.C. Joi graduated from the University of Nebraska, majoring in Journalism and Communication.
SVP Pipeline Development; President Driftwood Pipeline LLC
Over 25 years experience in energy infrastructure projects across the United States. Projects have included investments from small to mega infrastructure projects routinely greater than $500MM and upwards of $12B for both multi-state regulated and non-regulated pipeline developments as well as fixed facility developments for LNG, gas processing and fractionation plants across the south and northeast, with approximately $37B delivered in the past 9 years alone.
SVP and Treasurer
Graham joined Tellurian in February 2017 and serves as Treasurer. He previously served as the Chief Financial Officer for Venture Global LNG, Inc. Prior to Venture Global, Graham served as the Treasurer of Cheniere Energy, Inc. for ten years. Graham began his career in corporate banking in 1987 before moving into corporate Treasury roles. Graham has a BBA from Texas A&M University and a MBA from the University of Houston.
SVP Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Meredith Mouer has served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Tellurian Inc. since February 2017. Prior to joining Tellurian, she was a Partner in the corporate securities section at the law firm of Andrews Kurth LLP since 2003. While at Andrews Kurth, Ms. Mouer's practice included advising clients in public and private equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture transactions, special committees and general corporate and securities matters. In addition, Ms. Mouer regularly counseled public companies regarding periodic reporting, corporate governance, proxy solicitation and other requirements of the federal securities laws and stock exchanges. She has particular experience relating to the energy industry including master limited partnerships. Ms. Mouer has been committed to the advancement of women lawyers for over a decade. She is a Founding Member of the UT Center for Women in Law and, together with the Managing Partner of Andrews Kurth, served as Co-Chair of Andrews Kurth's Women's Initiative Team for over a decade. Since 2015, she has served on the Board of Directors of SEARCH Homeless Services. Ms. Mouer received a B.A. from Vanderbilt University in 1991 and a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 1995.
Chief Commercial Officer
Anita joined Tellurian as Chief Commercial Officer in September 2018. Anita brings 25 years’ experience in the energy industry and most recently served as Executive Vice President at the Angelicoussis Shipping Group Ltd (ASGL) for two years, where she led the LNG and oil freight trading businesses. Prior to ASGL, Anita served as Vice President, Shipping & Commercial Operations for Cheniere, before which she spent 19 years at BG Group, where Anita worked across all aspects of BG’s business including exploration, production, trading, marketing, business development, commercial operations and shipping; most latterly holding the position of VP, Global Shipping. Anita began her career with ExxonMobil in 1993 as a Geoscience analyst.
Anita was on the Board for the Society of International Gas Tanker and Terminal Operators (SIGGTO) from 2013 to 2016 and was Chairwoman of GIIGNL’s Commercial Study Group from 2010 to 2015.
Anita completed her PhD in Rock Physics from University College London & University of Tokyo and has a BSc in Geology from Imperial College, University of London.
SVP Government and Regulatory Affairs
Pat is responsible for government and regulatory activities, permitting and regulatory compliance and oversees the Environmental Health and Safety groups at Tellurian Inc. She has assisted in the site development, permitting, and expansion of seven of the US LNG import terminals and the siting, construction and operation of the two Cheniere LNG export terminals, Sabine Pass and Corpus Christi LNG. Her background includes management of natural gas vehicle projects; hazard/risk assessments for LNG facilities (including peakshaving, fueling, import and export facilities); siting analysis for LNG facilities, cost analysis and code compliance.
SVP Strategy and Chief Risk Officer
Adrian joined Tellurian as Senior Vice President – Strategy and Chief Risk Officer in October 2017. He has over 25 years of energy experience across the oil, natural gas and power industries. Prior to joining Tellurian Adrian was Managing Director in Berkeley Research Group’s energy practice. At Qatargas he was Chief Planning and Risk Officer directing numerous companywide initiatives to drive cost reduction and performance improvements as the company was expanding from 10 to 40 mtpa of LNG capacity. Prior to QG, Adrian held various strategy, planning and business development roles at Fortis Energy Market & Trade and Reliant Energy. As a consultant with McKinsey & Company, Adrian managed strategy and operational improvement projects for clients across the energy sector. He earned his B.S. in Petroleum Engineering and MBA degrees from The University of Texas.
Chief Accounting Officer
Khaled joined Tellurian in February 2017. Previously, he served as Vice President - Internal Audit at Cheniere Energy, Inc. focusing on improving the organization's governance, risk and compliance processes as it prepared for the startup of liquefaction operations. Previous employers include: Pride International, BJ Services Company and Schlumberger Limited where he served in several senior financial management positions. He lived and/or worked in more than 25 countries and developed an extensive experience in accounting and financial reporting, internal audit, risk management, investigations and the FCPA, quality management and process improvement. Khaled began his career with the consulting firm Price Waterhouse LLP in 1991. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentration in Accounting from Cairo University in Egypt and is a CPA in California.
